Thomas W. Pennock, 76, of 110 Federal St. Extension, a retired engineer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Division of United Technologies Corp. in East Hartford, died on Thursday at Springfield's Baystate Medical Center. He was a graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a World War II veteran of the Army. A former deacon and Sunday school teacher at the Baptist Church, he belonged to the Agawam Historical Society, was active in Boy Scouting, and volunteered with the Loaves and Fishes Program in Springfield. He leaves his wife, the former Anne Diduk; a son, Christopher T. of Dummerston, Vt.; a daughter, Deborah Lynne Pennock-Petraitis of West Springfield, and a sister, Louise Woll of Hingham. The funeral will be on Monday morning at the church, with the burial in Center Cemetery. The calling hours will be at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and evening, and memorial contributions may be made to the church on Main Street, Agawam, Mass., 01001, or any other charity.
