Notes for Esther Jane PENNOCK

In 1916 she became deathly ill and bedridden from an unknown illness in her
joints. She was taken to a revival meeting in Sidney, Iowa, on September 23, 1916. She was taken into the meeting on a stretcher. Mrs. Woodworth-Etter was the evangelist. During the service the Spirit of God fell upon her and she was instantly healed. She walked out of the service and into full time ministry with her husband.
John Willis served in several pastorates and eventually became a presbyter.
In 1939 they retired from full time ministry and settled in Anacortes, Washington.
