Harold C. Pennock
Age 77, of Minerva, died Tuesday April 5, 2011, in his home. He was born May 27, 1933, in Minerva to the late Everett and Ida (LeBeau) Pennock.
He was a truck driver and member of the Minerva Tri-County Eagles Aerie 2199, the Lost Voice Club and the 2-cylinder Antique Tractor Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Jarvis) Pennock, whom he married Feb. 8, 1952; two daughters, Patti (Don) Gotschall of Minerva and Amy Jo Pennock of the home; daughter-in-law, Joyce Taylor of Minerva; four sisters, Shirley (Jack) Saling of Minerva, Barbara Blymiller of Massillon, Deborah (Bob) Roberts of Minerva and Geraldine (Vern) Wireman of Minerva; brother, Gerald "Butch" (Kelley) Pennock of Minerva; two grandchildren, Cindi Pennock and Curtis Jays; two step-grandchildren, Mike Rauvola and Michelle Holderbaum; one great-grandchild; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and his special cousin, Ruth (Virgil) Feiock of Minerva. He is preceded in death by a son, William T. Pennock, and two sisters, Caroline Plott and Marilyn Pennock.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Chad Durfee officiating. Calling hours will be Saturday 1 to 4 p.m. prior to services. Eagles services will be at 3:45 p.m.
