Wayne L. Kofke

Wayne L. Kofke, a retired bus driver, died this morning in Rush Hospital, Malvern. He was 72 and lived at 19 S. New Street, West Chester.

Mr. Kofke, a member of the Methodist Church of West Chester, retired from the Short Line Co. in 1963. He was born at Grubbs Mill, son of the late Charles E. and Phoebe McFaggen Kofke. A veteran of World War I, he belonged to Uppowoc Tribe 47, Independent Order of Red Men, and Pocahontas Lodge 42 IOOF.

Surviving are his wife, Marian Shelley Kofke; two daughters, Caroline, wife of Howard Temple, Claymont, Del. and Mary P. Biddle, West Chester; two sons, William L. Kofke, Downingtown and Francis D. Kofke, Malvern; three brothers, J. Howard Kofke, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Roy Kofke, Philadelphia, and Elwood C. Kofke, West Chester; and 11 grandchildren.

KOFKE- On Tuesday, November 21, 1967, Wayne L., husband of Marian Shelly Kofke, 19 S. New St., West Chester, Pa., in his 72nd year.

Relatives, friends,, Veterans of Foreign Wars, McCormick-O'Connor-Butler Post 109, Uppowoc Tribe #47 Independent Order of Red Men, and Pocahontas Lodge IOOF $42 are invited to attend the funeral from the Lawrence J. Reilly Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St., West Chester, Pa., on Friday, November 24 1967, at 2 p.m. Interment Greenmount Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening.
