Notes for Martha L. JOHNSON
Martha L. Worrell, 70, of Denny Schill Manor, Short Street, Ellwood City, died Dec. 22, 2004, at Ellwood City Hospital.
Born March 26, 1934, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Jacobs Johnson.
She married George Rozzo. He died in 1968.
She later married Richard Worrell. He died in 1991.
Mrs. Worrell worked at the McDowell Hotel in Ellwood City for 13 years. She also worked at the former Pe'Wee Lunch in Ellwood City.
She enjoyed shopping and going on outings with the Lawrence County Blind Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Rozzo and Mrs. John (Margaret "Peggy") Bintrim, both of Ellwood City; a son, Richard Worrell Jr. of Wampum; a brother, Ralph Johnson, and his wife, Linda, of New Castle; a sister, Barbara Hamill of New Castle; two grandchildren, Richard Worrell III and Marlie Walker; and two stepgrandchildren, Ashley Hysell and Amanda Scott Bintrim.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Johnson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lawrence County Blind Association and the American Cancer Society.
