Notes for Mildred H. DARLINGTON
Mildred Darlington Slack, formerly of West Chester Mildred Darlington Slack passed away on October 19, 2016 in Greensburg, PA. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Irene Darlington and predeceased by her husband of 50 years, N. Harlan Slack, Jr. Millie is survived by sons, N. Harlan Slack, III (Kristin) of West Chester, Mark D. Slack (Anne) of St. Augustine, FL and daughter Sally S. Caruso (Richard) of Greensburg, PA., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Millie attended West Chester schools, Westtown School and graduated from Wheelock College. She and her family enjoyed summers at Buck Hill Falls, PA and later she and her husband retired to Sarasota, FL. Millie enjoyed golf, bridge and reading and while living in West Chester was involved in many community activities. A memorial service was held in Greensburg and a private burial in Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
