Notes for Dorothy E. PANCOAST
Dorothy E. Brooke, 84, of Lansdale, formerly of New Hope, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. She was the wife of the late William D. Brooke who died August 23, 2006. Mr. Brooke was the former Chief of Police in New Hope. Born November 30 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel C. R. and Grace (Fornwalt) Pancoast. Dorothy’s survivors include two children, Gloria J. Koehler (William), Lansdale, and William “Bill” Brooke (Ellen Renish), Collegeville; grandchildren, Desiree Figueroa, Josh Koehler, Bill, Kristen, Jason and Bridget Brooke, and Samantha Ringwood. Also surviving are eight beautiful great grandchildren she loved very much. Predeceased by a daughter Carol, sister, Grace Steinmetz, and brother Russell Pancoast. There will be a time to greet the family starting 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial had been held in Whitemarsh Memorial Park at an earlier date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
