Notes for Wellington Hugh MARTIN

Wellington graduated from the University of Iowa in 1884. He practiced law with CA Fickey, who was a most influential man of the community. He later had a partnership with Jerry Murphy in the firm Martin & Murphy. Jerry later went on to be a US congressman.
Wellington served as the county auditor for Westcott, County and at his death the flat few at half mast over the court house.
