She was the widow of the late Clyde H. Swisher Jr., who died in 1997.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Naomi Soulder O'Flaherty.

An area resident all her life, she was employed as a security guard at the former Lukens Steel Company, in Coatesville, and was previously employed by Pepperidge Farms, in Downingtown.

Pat was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church, in Parkesburg; the Ladies Auxiliary to the Tall Cedars; and the Pomeroy Fire Company, and she served as a committee person for the Pomeroy Boy Scouts.

She is survived by three sons, Henry Leroy Swisher, and wife Patricia, of Pomeroy, Michael C. Swisher, and William D. Swisher, both of Pomeroy Heights; one granddaughter; three sisters, Naomi Catanese, of Coatesville, Denise Coblentz, of Pomeroy, and Maureen McDowell, of New Holland; and one brother Dennis O'Flaherty, of Arizona.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, from Our Lady of Consolation Church, Second Ave. and Chestnut St., Parkesburg.

Interment will follow at Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the Church on Saturday morning from 10:00 am to the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Feed the Children, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK. 73101.
