Notes for Marian E. CORNOG
Marian E. Cornog Stringer of Elverson Marian E. Stringer, 65, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015. She was the wife of the late Howard “Mike” Stringer, who died in 2008. Born in Paoli, she was the daughter of the late Horace D. and Elsie Davis Cornog. She was a school bus driver for Krapf’s Bus Company and a full time Mimi for her grandchildren. She loved to visit the mountains and shore, specifically Cape May, N.J. Marian is survived by her two children, Ronald Gary Hoopes and wife, Jennifer of Glenmoore, Marianne E. Stringer of Birdsboro; and two grandchildren, Garrett and Rachel Hoopes. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Cumberland Cemetery in Media. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Chester County Food Bank, 650 Pennsylvania Drive, Exton, PA 19341.
