Notes for Helen Marie HACKMAN
Helen Marie 'Honey' Baker of Downingtown Helen Marie "Honey" Baker, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Chester County Hospital. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Helen Bailey Hackman of Avondale and the late Franklin Hackman, Sr. Honey was a 1964 graduate of Scott High School. She was employed for 31 years at the Coatesville VAMC. She enjoyed puzzle books, loved reading Danielle Steel novels and spending time with her grandson, Mitchell. Honey is survived by her son, Kevin M. Baker of Downingtown, fiance of Janice Plank; grandson, Mitchell Baker and step-grandson, Gabe Ivey; and two siblings, Franklin Hackman Jr. and Ruth Freeman. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Marie Bender. Memorial services will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday evening, May 23rd, at the Downingtown United Methodist Church, 751 East Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA
