DOVER - Ruth "Nana" Crossan Lamborn of Westminster Village, Dover, formerly of Middletown, died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, May 26, 2004, surrounded by her loving family. She was 96.

Mrs. Lamborn was the oldest daughter of the late Alfred V. and Florence W. Crossan.

She worked side by side with her husband on the farm and sold eggs at the market on King Street in Wilmington. They owned and operated the Laundracenter in Newark.

Mrs. Lamborn was a member of the Delaware Farm Bureau for several years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lamborn, in 1969; an infant daughter, Esther, in 1934; a son, Raymond, in 1997; and two sisters, Elsie Kelly and Freda Gray.

She is survived, and will be deeply missed, by her daughter-in-law, Lois Everett, and Mrs. Everett's husband Tom of Smyrna; four grandchildren, Linda Boulden and her husband Arty of Galena, Md., Gary Lamborn and his wife Judy of Smyrna, Rob Lamborn of Marydel and Christine Woodward and her husband Woody; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Bowlesby.

Services will be 8 p.m. Saturday in the Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Du Pont Highway, Dover, DE 19904; or to Westminster Village Assisted Living, 1167 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904.
