Notes for Virginia SHARPLESS

Virginia Sharpless Crosson Loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother peacefully passed away December 29, 2013 at the age of 94. Virginia was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota December 13, 1919 to Sophia and Clarence Sharpless. Her family moved many times and settled in Jenkintown, PA. She was a graduate of Jenkintown High School and Beaver College/Arcadia University (1941) Glenside, PA. Virginia and Harry raised their family in Willow Grove, PA, and move to Summit, N.J. in 1954. Virginia had her B.A. degree in Fine Arts and was an art teacher in the Summit schools. She was an avid golfer and cook. Upon retirement Virginia and Harry moved to Hilton Head S.C and Atlantic Beach FL, Upon Harry's death in 2008 she moved to Inverness, Ca to be closer to her family. Virginia was pre-deceased by Harry J. Crosson and her daughter Ginny. She is survived by her son Harry, daughter Connie (Dan) Morse, grandchildren Amy and Jake, and great grandchildren Sofie, Jett, and Brock. A gathering in Virginia's memory will be held in Inverness, CA. A graveside service will be held in May in Summit N.J.
