Catherine L. Shellem

Mrs. Catherine Shellem, age 76, a 30-year resident of West Grove, PA and formerly of Boothwyn, PA, died on Saturday, June 24, 2006, at home.
Catherine was born in Upland, Delaware County, PA, to James P. and Genevieve R. Burrows Bell. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Shellem. Survivors include children, James J. Shellem, Jr., of West Grove, PA, Catherine L. Pownall, of Williamsport, PA, Steven J. Shellem, of New Castle, DE, Judith R. Brackin, of West Grove, PA, Susan A. MacDonald, of Claymont, DE; and Mark J. Shellem, of West Grove, PA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30 am on Friday, June 30, at the THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. A funeral mass will be offered at 11 am on Friday at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Burial will be in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, in Springfield, PA.
