Notes for Timothy J. SPEAKMAN

Timothy J. "Wildman" Speakman, 54, of Wilmington passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Christiana Hospital.

Tim had been a sheet metal foreman for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and rock and roll music. Timmy was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Tim is survived by his two daughters, Meaghan M. Speakman and her husband Max McPherson of Wilmington and Patricia Speakman of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Walter M. Speakman, IV of Claymont and Kevin F. Speakman and his wife Linda of Hockessin; his sister, Patricia A. Christopher and her husband Bill of Wilmington; his longtime girl friend Patricia M. Hudak of Wilmington; two grandchildren, David Green and Mia Rose McPherson, many nieces and nephews who truly loved him; and his dog Buck. Tim was preceded in death by his parents Eleanor M. (Tyson) Speakman and Walter Mifflin Speakman, III.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Noon Friday, April 8, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 until 11:45 Friday morning. A committal service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
