Notes for Kenneth Lee ALLMAN

MONTPELIER — Kenneth L. Allman, 59, of Montpelier, died Friday morning at the Defiance Regional Medical Center in Defiance.
Ken was born on November 12, 1951, in Wauseon, Ohio, to John R. and Marilyn L. (Wisman) Allman. Ken graduated from Montpelier High School in 1969 and then received a Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo in 1986. Ken retired in 2001 after approximately 26 years as an engineer at Powers and Sons in Montpelier. He was involved with the Little League programs in Montpelier and coached for a number of years. Ken was a life member and past president of the Montpelier Eagles and was a member of the Montpelier Moose.
Ken is survived by three sons, Brett Allman of Quincy, Mich., Kevin and Billie Allman of Quincy, Mich., and Tyson and Heather Allman of Defiance, Ohio; one daughter, Tami and Daryl Hill of Bryan; 10 grandchildren, and one sister, Debra S. Allman of Montpelier.He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Ken will be on Wednesday, October 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier with Rev. David E. Tilly to officiate. Visitation hours will be on Wednesday from 2-7 p.m.
