Notes for Nedinia SCHUTT

The marriage of Nedinia Schutt Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith Schutt Jr. of Wilmington, Del., to Charles Francis du Pont, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eleuth ere Irenee du Pont of Wilmington, took place yesterday. The Rev. Adam Lewis performed the ceremony at the Chapel of Christ Episcopal Church Christiana Hundred in Greenville, Del.

Sara Kate du Pont Ross, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor and Aimee P. Harrison maid of honor. David Ross was best man.

Mrs. du Pont, whose first marriage ended in divorce and whose second husband died, heads her own interior design company, Prints and Chintz, in Greenville. She graduated from the Oldfields School in Glencoe, Md., Bennett College and the New York School of Interior Design. Her father is a private investor.

Mr. du Pont, whose previous marriage ended in divorce, graduated from the Westminster School in Simsbury, Conn., and the Illinois Institute of Technology and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a partner in the Wilmington architectural firm of Du Pont & Payne. His father is chairman of the Delfi American Corporation, a mutual fund managing firm in Wilmington. The bridegroom is a descendant of Eleuth ere Irenee du Pont, the founder in 1802 of E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company. Nedinia Schutt du Pont
"Dini"
Nedinia Schutt du Pont of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away following a long illness at the Christiana Hospital on June 17, 2013. Dini was born in Wilmington, DE on November 16, 1949, the daughter of the late Harold (Bill) S. Schutt and Ann T. Schutt.
Dini attended Tower Hill School, Wilmington, DE, and graduated from Oldfields School, Glencoe, MD, Bennett College, Millbrook, NY and The Parsons School of Design, New York, NY.
Upon her return to Wilmington, she began working for Plain and Fancy Interiors, where she eventually became a partner. Her community interests included the Garden Club of Wilmington, The Christmas Shop (now known as The Perfect Gift) and the Holly Ball. She was a member of the Colony Club, New York, NY and the Bidermann Golf Club, Wilmington, DE.
Dini is survived by her mother, Ann Schutt and her husband, Charles F. du Pont. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends from near and far.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel at the du Pont Family Cemetery.
