Notes for Sandra SANDERSON
Sandra Wood (nee Sanderson) of Devon, PA died on May 21st, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born on February 8, 1944 to the late Charles Dale and Henrietta Marie Sanderson and raised in La Grange, IL., and was a graduate of Parson College. Sandy was an avid gardner, orchid collector, enjoyed reading and needlepoint, ladies bridge and was a Senior Woman's Golf Champion. She was a member of The Sedgeley Club, West Chester Garden Club and Philadelphia Country Club. Sandy was the beloved wife of Harvard C. Wood III and devoted mother of Laura W. Collamer(Nathan) and Harvard C. Wood IV(Catherine); also survived by 5 grandchildren and her brother Charles Dale Sanderson(Karen) of Countryside, IL. Her Memorial Service was held on Sat. May 25th, 1 PM in St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 South Valley Forge Road, Wayne, PA. Her burial was private in the Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to either Harriton House, P.O. Box 1364, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 or Eldernet, 9 South Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
