MARSHALL- On the 10th instant, after a lingering illness, Mrs. Hopeful Marshall, aged 76 years. Funeral from her residence, No. 137 West Union Street, West Chester, on Tuesday, the 13th instant; meet at the house at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited without further notice. Interment at Greenmount.

Last Evening Mrs. Alexander Marshall died at her home on West Union Street, West Chester, from a complication of diseases resulting from old age. She was the widow of one of West Chester's most honored and useful citizens, who contributed many interesting articles on various topics to the Daily Local News during its earlier years.

The funeral of Mrs. Hopeful Marshall took place this morning from her late home on West Union Street. The services were held at the house at eleven o'clock, and were conducted by Revs. Joseph S. Evans and Dr. Caldwell. A large number of the deceased's relatives and friends were present, some having come from a distance. The interment was made at Greenmount Cemetery.
