Notes for Earl Cornog Jr. SUPPLEE
Earl C. Supplee, Jr., 91, formerly of Merion Station, died at Willow Valley Communities on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was the husband of the late Sarah “Sally” (Bolich) Supplee, who died in 2010. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and received the Pacific Theater, American Theater and Victory medals. Earl earned his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and Masters in Economics from Temple University. He retired as Division Vice-President, Commercial Loan Division of First Pennsylvania Bank, Philadelphia. He and Sally had attended Grace Church at Willow Valley. They were members of Grace Chapel, Havertown. Earl enjoyed motor home travel, fishing and hiking. He spent time hiking on the Appalachian Trail and enjoyed visiting their mountain cabin at Lake Wallenpaupak. Born in West Chester, Earl was the son of the late Earl, Sr., and Margaret (Harrison) Supplee. He is survived by a son, Earl C., III and his wife of 24 years, Lisa Supplee; a daughter, Susan Morrison; five grandchildren, Andrew, Abigail and Sarah Supplee and David and Peter Morrison. Earl was preceded in death by a brother, Ted H. Supplee and a sister, Peggy Sepella. There will be a family visitation on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:30 AM in the Bachman Funeral Home. 7 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:30 PM in the Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, 1235 Birmingham Rd., West Chester, PA 19382. Kindly omit flowers.
