Notes for Albert G. ELDER
Albert G. Elder Sr., 56, of Mystic Islands, died Monday at the Southern Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin.
Mr. Elder was a slot technician for Showboat Hotel Casino in Atlantic City. He was an Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Thomas R. Patton Masonic Lodge No. 659 in Philadelphia.
Mr. Elder was a member of the Good Shepard Lutheran Church and worked for General Electric Co. in Philadelphia for 28 years.
He was born in Philadelphia and spent his summers in the area for 24 years before moving to here 10 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine; two sons, Albert Jr. of Little Egg Harbor Township, Mark of Atlantic City; two daughters, Janet LeConey and Elaine, both of Little Egg Harbor Township; his mother, Julia of Broomall, Pa.; and one grandchild.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Maxwell Funeral Home in Mystic Island, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
