Natalie Poor Smith, 85, of Springfield and formerly of Gradyville, died Oct. 16 at her home.
She was born in Philadelphia. She resided in Springfield the past three years and previously lived in Ocean City, N.J., and Gradyville. After graduating from Germantown High School, Mrs. Smith became an X-ray technician for Germantown Hospital in 1932. A homemaker, she was an active member of the Church of the Redeemer, the Ladies Auxiliary at the Gradyville firehouse. She enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, crocheting and was an avid Phillies fan.
She was married to Samuel Edward Smith, who died in 1981.
Survivors: Daughter, Susan Leslie Wylie of Springfield a son, Samuel Peter Smith of Seattle, Wash. two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Redeemer, West Springfield and Hillcrest roads, Springfield.
