Notes for Maryland Louise BONSALL
Maryland Louise Dilworth of Downingtown Maryland Louise Dilworth of Downingtown went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at her home with her family near. She was born in Ridley Park, Delaware County, Pa. to the late William H. and Maryland Bonsall on April 22, 1926. Upon graduation from nursing school at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, she continued to work as a registered nurse even after she married her husband, Lawrence M. Dilworth, Sr. She left nursing to raise her two sons and help her husband operate their dairy farm near Guthriesville, East Brandywine Township. Maryland was a charter member of New Testament Baptist Church in Lyndell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Dilworth, Sr. in 1989. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence M. "Larry" Jr. and his wife Kathleen Dilworth and David H. and his wife Elizabeth Dilworth, all of Downingtown. There are three grandchildren, Mary wife of Jeffrey Wise, Courtney and William H. Dilworth, all of Downingtown. Also two sisters, Margaret Bonsall of Garnet Valley and Hannah Huhn of Ashburn, Va. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. A memorial service to celebrate Louise's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, at New Testament Baptist Church, 1061 Creek Road, (Lyndell) Downingtown.
