PHILADELPHIA -- Leila Canby Frazier, 86, of Chestnut Hill, Pa., and Philadelphia, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at St. Paul's Church, Chestnut Hill Avenue, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Frazier was born May 23, 1918, a daughter of Leila Kurtz Canby and William Marriott Canby.
She graduated from Springside School in Chestnut Hill and married Benjamin West Frazier Jr. in 1941. The two operated Frazier and Frazier.
Mrs. Frazier worked for Gimbels and Strawbridge's in Philadelphia and volunteered for several organizations, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include a daughter, Leila Frazier Kent of Beaufort; three sons, Christopher S. Frazier of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., John Frazier of Memphis, Tenn., and Benjamin West Frazier, IIl; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
