A funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001, in St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Portland for Sara-Jane "Tizzie" Babbitt Norwood, who died March 27 at age 86.
Mrs. Norwood was born Dec. 22, 1914, in Portland. Her maiden name was Henderson. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of her church. In 1932, she married Daniel R. Babbitt; he died in 1977. Her husband Roderick A. Norwood died in 1995.
Survivors include her son, Daniel Henderson Babbitt; daughter, Sally Babbitt Rove; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Interment in Finley's Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Remembrances to her church. Arrangements by Finley's.
