Notes for Frances W. GRAFF
Frances Graff Fetters, age 91, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Kennett Square, PA, died Saturday September 11, 2010 at Gilpin Hall retirement home in Wilmington. She was the wife of Howard K. Fetters with whom she shared 71 years of marriage.
Born in Chester County she was a daughter of the late Frank and Beulah Davis Graff.
Frances was a 1936 graduate of Kennett High School. She was a member of the Seedlings Garden Club in Kennett Square, and the Country Gardeners Club in Delaware County. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends at “Maple Linden”, the family farm in Delaware County and at their beach home in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Survivors include, in addition to her husband, a daughter, Barbara G. Fetters of Glen Mills, a son, Howard K. Fetters Jr. and his wife Ann Mathis of Kennett Square, six grandchildren, George, Suzanne, Sharon, John, Becky and Amy, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter Susan F. DiAmbrosio in 2007.
A memorial service celebrating Frances’ life with interment in Union Hill Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
