Notes for M. Elizabeth HUGHES

Elizabeth "Bette" H. Anderson, 89, of Kennett Square, passed away on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience in Philadelphia.
She was the wife of William D. Anderson, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage.
Born in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late Cloud D. Hughes and Anna Dilworth Hughes.
A homemaker, Mrs. Anderson enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family picnics and being outdoors, swimming, knitting, sewing, bowling and traveling with friends and family.
She also enjoyed making and donating preemie hats for the Chester County Hospital.
She was a deacon and elder of Unionville Presbyterian Church.
She was also a member of the Octorara Chapter of the Eastern Star and a member of the Unionville Elementary Mother's Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Musser and her husband, Tom, and Terry Vosburgh and her husband, Bruce, both of Kennett Square; a son, William D. Anderson Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of West Chester; a sister, Jean Mattson of Wyoming; four grandchildren, Traci Bauguess and her husband, Ron, Tom Musser, Erin Vosburgh and Colton Vosburgh; and by two great-grandchildren, Xander Bauguess and Kayla Bauguess.
She was predeceased by a brother, Cloud D. Hughes Jr.; and a sister, Dorothy Todd.
You are invited to visit with Mrs. Anderson's family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, and again from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 W. State St., Kennett Square.
Her funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
