Kathryn U. "Kitty" Sume of West Chester, Pa. Kathryn U. "Kitty" Sume, 96 of West Chester, Pa. died Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Barclay Friends in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Anthony W. Sume, Sr. Kathryn was born Jan. 9, 1918 in Edgemont, Pa. and was the daughter of the late Walter Urey and the late Carolyn Hoopes. She was retired and had worked as an information operator for Bell Telephone. Kathryn enjoyed gardening and was known for her beautiful rose garden in the front of her home. She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Kathryn is survived by her son, Anthony W. "Tony" Sume, Jr., (Marge) of West Chester, Pa.; daughter, Nancy D. Jackson (Robert) of West Chester, Pa.; grandchildren: Tracey, Lisa, Linda, Debbie, Dianne and Rick and her great-granddaughter, Taylor. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank Sume. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 11 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA;
