Notes for Dorothy PYLE

Dorothy P. Woolard, of Malvern, born Dec. 26, 1920, entered into rest on June 21, 2010, at Wellington Terrace, West Chester.
She was the wife to the late Henry D. Woolard with whom she was married 50 years.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter to the late Frank B. and Elsie Mae Linder Pyle.
Dorothy worked at Bishop Tube, then went to work as an assistant cafeteria manager at Kathryn D. Markley School and she was secretary of attendance at Great Valley High School. She worked for Deluxe Check Printers as an office worker, retiring there after 20 years.
She loved the Lord and loved her family and many friends. She enjoyed cooking, as she made many meals for her family and friends. She was a great reader. She was very much involved in raising two of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Great Valley Presbyterian Church.
Along with her husband she was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Mae and a son, Henry Daniel Woolard Jr.
She is survived by three daughters, Frani (John) Hitzelberger of Malvern, Connie M. Woolard of Malvern and Deborah D. Owens of West Chester; also by three grandchildren, Cain P. (Megan) Woolard of Ephrata, Tara Marie (Patrick) Moore of Dryden, N.Y. and Timothy Gordon of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; and by one great-grandson, Ryan Henry Woolard.
Life Celebration memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 25, with a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at Great Valley Presbyterian Church, 2025 Swedesford Road, Malvern, PA 19355. Interment will be private.
