Notes for Carroll W. FRAME

Carroll W. "Cy" Frame, 82, of James Creek and formerly of Eagle, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was the husband of Rebecca (nee Fling) Frame, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage.
Born on Nov. 3, 1927, in Upper Uwchlan, he was the son of the late Leroy and Lena Sheib Frame.
He was a self-employed excavating contractor (C.W. Frame Excavating) until his retirement and was a road superintendent for Uwchlan Township for 10 years.
An avid hunter, he also loved to travel in his motor home with his wife, Becky. He and Becky fulfilled their dreams, driving the Alcan Highway to the Canadian Rockies and to Anchorage, Alaska.
He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in the Philippines and Okinawa.
He was a member of VFW Post 845 in Downingtown and a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was a 50-year member of Mt. Pickering Lodge F & A Masons Byers and a 50-year member of Reading Consistory 320 Mason and 50-year member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest #22 West Chester. He was a 50-year member of Rajah Temple Shriner's, Reading.
He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Chester Springs.
He is survived by three sisters, Lera Frame of Honey Brook, Lena Jenkins of Eagle and Betty Borland of Downingtown; and a brother, Leonard Frame.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Fetters, Dorothy Wheatley and Florence Haga; and three brothers, Frank P. Frame, L. Robert Frame and Lewis R. Frame Sr.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
A Masonic service will take place at 10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Matthews Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chester Springs.
