Notes for Ralph H. LEVIS
Ralph H. Levis, 59, of Montgomery County, died last Sunday at Abington Memorial Hospital.
He was a chemical engineer with Honeywell Corp. for 33 years, serving in several engineering and management positions.
Mr. Levis graduated from Abington High School in 1947 and served two years in the Army during the Korean War. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University in 1956.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Irene Schmitt Levis; two sons, Thomas R. and Steven H.; a daughter, Karyn Engblom; eight grandchildren, and two brothers, L. Ronald Levis and R. Barry Levis.
A funeral service took place Thursday morning at Jarrettown United Methodist Church. Burial was in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 447 W. Moreland Rd., Willow Grove, Pa. 19090.
Arrangements were made by John R. Freed Funeral Home of Glenside.
