Notes for William Rush BYE
DOVER - William R. 'Bill' Bye of Dover died Monday, March 24, 2003, in Silver Lake Center. He was 82.
Mr. Bye was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Pennsylvania, son of the late David H. and Bella Mae Hollowell Bye.
He was a self-employed carpenter in Pennsylvania and Delaware for several years.
Mr. Bye enjoyed horse racing, antiques and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Warren Bye.
He is survived by a son, William J. Bye of Pennsylvania; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda B. Lagle of California and Patricia L. and Floyd D. Heath of Delaware; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour earlier.
