Notes for Elijah SHOEMAKER

Colonel Elijah Shoemaker was the 7th commanding officer of the 109th Field Artillery in 1812. He also served in the 35th Regiment in 1816. He erected a small grist mill, a saw mill and a distillery on Abraham's Creek.
