Notes for Robert SMITH

The Potts Family in Great Britain and America by Thomas Maxwell Potts, 1901tells us that he was a blacksmith by trade, and for many years carried on smithing and farming near Gum Tree, Chester County. After retiring from business the family removeed to Coatesville. They were Methodists in religious faith.
