Notes for Lewis L. PYLE

Lewis L. Pyle Age 79 of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002 in the Kent General Hospital, Dover. Mr. Pyle was a truck driver for Ash Equipment in New Castle and had also worked for Calotex, formerly of Middletown. He retired due to disability in 1996. He was a lifetime member of Aetna Hose, Hook, & Ladder Co. in Newark, a 50 year member of Union Lodge #545 AF&AM in Oxford, PA, Esther Chapter #17, O.E.S. in Middletown and a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Dover. He enjoyed working in his Garden in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Doris M. Pyle 1 son, Gary Pyle of PA 2 stepsons, Edward B. Jenks, III of Clayton and Paul W. Jenks of Newark 4 stepdaughters, Deanna M. Jenks of Newark, Sharon G. Jenks and Louisa E. Jenks, both of Anchorage, AK, and Barbara A. Scallion of Kissimmee, FL 1 sister, Margaret Watterson of Cochranville, PA 10 granchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, at 9:45 from the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont Hwy., in Minquadale. Entombment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7:30-9 pm at the DANIELS & HUTCHISON FUNERAL HOME, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown. Masonic services will be held at 7 pm with Eastern Star Services immediately following on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
