Myra Townsend (LaPorte) Frame was born to William Sharpless and Sarah Jane (Taney) LaPorte. The third of nine children and the second of seven to survive, Myra married J. Warren Frame, grocer and merchant, of West Chester PA, on August 31, 1889, in Camden, New Jersey. She was mother to six children including Charles W. Frame who was warden of Chester County Farm Prison for 16 years. She died of a heart attack at age 51 in her home at 118 East Gay Street, West Chester, PA. Buried in Marshallton, PA, in Bradford Cemetery.
