Notes for Henry Willis Jr. BUSH

H. Willis Bush, Jr., 87, of New Holland, formerly of Cochranville, passed away at Garden Spot Village on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008.
He was the husband of Evelyn D. Sheaffer Gehman Bush of Narvon, with whom he celebrated 16 years of marriage on July 5.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna M. Rathman Bush, who passed away on April 8, 1991.
He was born in West Fallowfield, son of the late Henry Willis Sr. and Caroline M. Chambers Bush.
He was a member of Cochranville United Methodist Church. He was a lifelong dairy farmer in the Cochranville area. He graduated from the former Cochranville High School.
He was a 32nd Degree and Past Master of the Cochranville Skerrett Lodge #343, F.&A.M, and a member of the Reading Consistory, Rajah Shrine of Reading, where he was also a member of the Antique Car Club.
He served West Fallowfield as an auditor and supervisor and was a past Octorara Area School Board member.
He enjoyed golf, traveling and classic cars.
Surviving besides his wife are three children, Bonita B., wife of H. Leslie Walton, Dennis L., husband of Eleanor Wilson Bush, and Dawn B., wife of Lynn D. Stoltzfus, all of Cochranville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three siblings, Helen, wife of Robert Myers, of Cochranville, Jean, wife of Robert Kline, of Lancaster, and Robert, husband of Virginia Graybeal Bush, of Atglen.
He was preceded in death by three siblings, John Bush, Mildred Farmer and Edith Shivery Hilaman.
Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, from the Cochranville United Methodist Church, Church Drive, Cochranville, with the Rev. Bumkoo Chung officiating. Interment will be in the Cochranville Methodist Cemetery.
There will be a viewing at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday and at the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth St., Christiana, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, with a Masonic Service by the Skerrett Lodge of Cochranville at 7 p.m.
