Notes for Charlotte Dolores MCENTEE

Charlotte D. McEntee Grosso, 87, of Middletown, died April 15 at Taylor Hospice.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. Grosso attended Willliam Penn High School in Philadelphia. She lived in the Folsom section of Ridley Township for 35 years before moving to Middletown, where she resided at her daughter's home for the past 14 years.
A former member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Mrs. Grosso was most recently a member of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Media.
In 1972, Mrs. Grosso was a kidney donor for her daughter, Jill, when organ donation was still in its infancy stage.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed genealogy, music and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was the widow of Vincent J. Grosso, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, the mother of the late Charlotte Jill Di Nicola, the daughter of the late William A. and Mary E. McCarty McEntee, and the sister of the late George, Evelyn, Claire and Thelma.
Survivors: Daughter, Debra Noce of Middletown; son, Vincent J. Grosso Jr. of Frankfurt, Del.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media.
Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple.
