William Eber Frame, Jr.
Age 83, of Oxford, PA, formerly of Newark, DE, died at Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove, PA Thursday March 15, 2007.
Mr. Frame was born in Glenmore, PA on March 19, 1923, the son of the late William Eber Frame, Sr. and Rebecca Maris Gray Frame. He was a graduate of Warwick High School and Beacom College. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Europe from 1942-45. He was employed by Bell Atlantic from 1951-83, was a member of the Newark City Council for District 4 in the late 1960's and was Past Master of Hiram Lodge #25 of Newark, DE.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Madeline Frame, of Oxford, PA; 4 children, Ralph Frame, of Rising Sun, MD, John Frame, of Denver, CO, Karen Greenway, of Palm Coast, FL, and Wayne Frame of Scottsdale, AZ; 10 grandchildren, Paul Frame and his wife, René, Kelly Braun, Kevin Greenway, and his wife, Julie, David and Travis Greenway, Kyle, Cory, Wayne Jr., Chandler and Emily Frame; and 4 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind 3 sisters, Elizabeth Hughes and Phyllis Harrop, both of Honeybrook, PA, and Carolyn Kripatis, of Seaford, DE; and 2 brothers, Edgar and Warren Frame, both of Glenmore, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Anne Braun; and his brother, Gilbert Frame.
A memorial service will be held at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Newark, 308 Possum Park Road, on Tuesday, March 20, at 2 pm. Burial will be private.
