Ruth Pratt Karahalis of Downingtown Ruth Pratt Karahalis, 70, of Downingtown, passed away on Sat., Aug. 10, 2013 at Brandywine Hall in West Chester. She loved to spend time at the shore with her family and had a passion for flower gardening. She also had a love for her cats and had a passion for crafting and collecting antiques. Ruth is survived by her children, Cynthia Karahalis Cassella, Peter Anthony Karahalis, Jr. (Jennifer), and Stephanie Jo Kolokithas; and six grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Christopher, Caitlin, Cassandra and Petey. She was predeceased by Peter A. Karahalis, Sr. and James Zuelch, Sr. A funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. on Weds., Aug. 14th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made online to the American Heart and Stroke Association
