To wife Joanna, wearing apparel, household goods, negro girls, Betty and Peggy,
also farm where son Joseph lives, 20 acres, 1/4 part of Warwick Furnace and testator's
share of stock and household goods valued to John Rutter and David Potts, Jr.
subject to following contracts: to son Thomas, right of ore to supply 1/5
part of Joanna Furnace for which he pays 300 pds.. Also to wife during life
money arising from contract to supply ore for 1/4 par of Thomas Bull's
contract said Furnace, also to wife income of ore from Rebecca Furnace, all
in lieu of her dower. To sons Thomas and Joseph half part of mines in
Colebrook Dale, Berks Co., they paying 300 pds. to sister. To daughter Sarah
Hobart, 1/8 part of Rebecca Furnace, she paying 400 pds. Rem. to be sold and
divided among children, deducting advances. At death of wife bequests to her
to be valued, son David to have first choice at valuation, in default of him
to each child beginning with others. House and land at Pottstown to be sold
at wife's death and divided among children. Codicil, provides if mine next
Jones Mine shall yield copper ore of value, it to go to children: John,
Thomas, Joseph and Sarah and privilege of it for copper.
Also adds son John to exrs.
Execs: Sons: Thomas, Joseph and David Potts, son in law Robert Loller.
Wit: John C. Stocker, David Rutter.
