Notes for Charles Miller 3rd BIDDLE

Charles Miller Biddle 3d, 95, of Gwynedd, a retired agricultural chemicals representative and former co-owner of a Chrysler-Plymouth dealership in Moorestown, died July 7 at Foulkeways, a retirement community in Gwynedd.
Mr. Biddle was born in Riverton and was a descendant of Robert Biddle, one of original settlers of the Burlington County community.
He graduated from Westfield Friends School in Cinnaminson and attended William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia before transferring to Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I. After graduation, he studied business at Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.
Mr. Biddle worked in sales for his family's Supplee Biddle Hardware Co. in Philadelphia and served on the company's board of directors.
Near the end of World War II, he became a co-owner of the Chrysler-Plymouth dealership and remained a business partner for 20 years.
Mr. Biddle's family hardware firm was sold in the mid-1960s, and he began working in agricultural chemicals sales for I.P. Thomas Co. in Moorestown. He retired in 1969.
He married Priscilla White in 1936. She died in 1971. He married Marjorie T. Corson in 1972. She died in 1975. He married Phyllis Jenkins Morrison in 1985.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Biddle is survived by daughter Ann Biddle Moran Hepburn; sons Charles Miller Biddle 4th, David White Biddle and Richard Lippincott Biddle; stepchildren John Davis Morrison, David Jenkins Morrison and Joan Van Dusen Morrison; one sister; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
