Notes for William Hannum GRUBB

William H. Grubb (January 18, 1803 - November 17, 1891) was a farmer in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania who was elected as a commissioner of Delaware County in 1853. On January 17, 1833, he married Rachael Dutton (August 20, 1805 - August 27, 1835) daughter of Richard Dutton and Lydia Larkin and had a daughter before she died. On may 28, 1839, he re-married to Mary B. Huston (June 12, 1805 - October 20, 1874) daughter of William Huston and Elizabeth Mendenhall and had a son the next year. In the 1860s he retired to Wilmington. After Mary Huston died, William re-married again to Mary Boyd (January 16, 1829 - unk) daughter of David Boyd and Judith Marshall.
