Notes for Bette A. YARNALL
Bette A. (nee Yarnall) Stillwagon of Ardmore, Pa passed away Thursday April 25, 2019. She was born May 21, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to Mary Murphy and John Yarnall. She moved to Ardmore at a young age and has lived there ever since. Bette is a graduate of West Catholic High School for girls.
Bette has been a long time active parishioner of St. Denis Parish. On September 18, 1954 she married William J. Stillwagon in St. Denis Church. Bette loved the beach, traveling, crafts, sewing and cooking.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, William J. Stillwagon, in 2015. Bette is the mother of Junie Sharkey (late James), John Stillwagon (Anne), Diane Fitzgerald (Constance Bompadre), grandmother of Ryan (Brian), Mark (Amy), Taylor (David), Paige, Ian, Liam, Blair, great grandmother of Declan, Kieran, Brayden, Emerson, and the late Tanner, and sister of the late Mary and Jane.
Family and friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, Pa. 19083. Interment is in St. Denis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Denis Church or to the Child Life Program c/o Nemours Alfred DuPont Hospital for Children, 1600 Rockland Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803
