Notes for Joanne Marie LEMONT
Joanne Marie Bonsall (nee Lemont), 77 of Wallingford died November 23, 2017 after a two-year struggle with kidney disease. Born in Upper Darby but raised in Atlantic City NJ, she was daughter of the late William and Marie McDermott Lemont. Mrs. Bonsall built a home and raised her family in Wallingford prior to retiring to Holmes Beach, FL in 1996.
Joanne was a graduate of the Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital’s School of Nursing and was first employed as a Registered Nurse and then Office Manager in the medical practice of Dr. Walter W. Schwartz for over 25 years, semi-retiring in 1996. After moving to Florida, Joanne continued working part-time for Publix in Holmes Beach for almost 20 years until she was forced to retire in 2015 due to her illness. Over the years Joanne enjoyed sewing, reading, and the companionship of her rescue dog(s). Most of all she loved spending time with her four grandchildren during family vacations to Florida and Ocean City, NJ.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lewis C. Bonsall III, her children Karen Nega (Daniel) of Huntingtown, MD and Kevin Bonsall (Paula) of Aston, PA and her grandchildren Zachary and Matthew Nega and Kevin and Emma Bonsall.
A Memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home 3551 Concord Road, Aston where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial private.
