Notes for Mary Frances DARLINGTON
Mary Frances (nee Darlington) Lynch, a life long resident of Cardington, Pa. passed away on Saturday December 24, 2016.
Born April 22, 1923 in Cardington, Pa. to Ella Bryson and Thomas Darlington. Growing up in Cardington she graduated from St. Carthage Grade School and West Catholic Girls High School. She was a life long parishioner of St. Carthage's Catholic Church.
In 1952 she married Joseph F. Lynch. She worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone for several years, when she became a Mother she stayed home raising their three children and then went back to work at Strawbridge and Clothier in Suburban Square, Ardmore, Pa.
Mary was all about family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was also an avid gardener.
Mary was predeceased by her husband: Joseph F. Lynch, she is survived by her children: Kathleen E. Lynch, Linda M. Spross (Paul), Joseph M. Lynch, grandchildren: Lauren Heenan, Christopher O'Neill, Mark Spross, Kelly Lynch, Jacqueline Spross, Cody Lynch, and great grandchildren: Brynn Heenan, Elle and Charlotte O'Neill.
Family and friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday, December 29, in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Denis Church, Havertown. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
