Martin T. Brittingham of West Chester Martin T. Brittingham, 92, of West Chester, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Coatesville Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. He was the husband of Bessie C. Mercer Brittingham. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Eaby Brittingham. A WWII veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Martin retired as a technician for Suburban Propane, was a former member of Grove United Methodist Church, lifetime member of the West Chester VFW, Past President of the Aero Club of Chester County and a member of Masonic Lodge #322 of West Chester. In addition to his wife, Martin is survived by his daughter, Sandra Brown and husband Phillip; grandchildren: Catherine McCall and husband Scott, and Emily Brown; 2 great grandsons. Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to: Coatesville Veteran’s Affairs Hospice Unit, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320
