Notes for Mary CHASE
Wiellette - Mary "Molly" Chase on January 19th, a longtime resident of Brookline, MA. Molly was born in Schenectady, NY on February 7, 1941 and was raised in Wilmington, DE. She was the daughter of the late Richard Lane Chase and Elinor Robinson Chase Pennock. She graduated from Tower Hill School in 1958 and Swarthmore College in 1962, and then moved to Brookline where she married and raised two daughters. After her daughters had grown, Molly earned a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College and subsequently worked at the Brookline Public Library and the Winchester Public Library. She and Joseph P. Wiellette were divorced in 2004.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Wiellette, and her husband, Brian Kelley, and their children Owen and Amelia, and by her daughter, Christina Wiellette, and grandson, Miles Duran. Also surviving are her sister, Susan C. Corkran of Chadds Ford, PA, her twin, Amy R. Chase of Cashiers, NC, and her brother, Edmund R. Pennock and his wife, Carole, of Deerfield, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.There will be a memorial service at First Parish in Brookline, 382 Walnut Street, Brookline, on April 2, at 2PM.
