Notes for Nathan Eugene LAMMEY

Nathan E. Lammey Sr., 78, or 560 S. Broad St., Honey Brook, died Monday at home after a brief illness.

A farmer in Salisbury Township Lancaster County, he retired in 1989.

Lammey was a member of Howell Lodge 405, Free and Accepted Masons, Honey Brook, since 1950 and a former member of Honey Brook Township Grange 1688.

He was a 1943 graduate of Honey Brook High School.

Born in West Nantmeal Township, Chester County, he was the son of the late Cecil E. and Vesta Shaw Lammey.

He was married 52 years on Sept. 17 to Alice Kearns Lammey.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, N. Eugene Jr., married to Lou Ann Summers Lammey of Christiana; a daughter, Joan M., married to Robert P. Vandegriff of Honey Brook; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
