Notes for Mary Scott GOODMAN

COMLY MARY SCOTT (nee Goodman) of Dunwoody Village, Newtown Square, passed away on March 10, 2015. Former wife of the late John Comly and the late William A. Tuttle. She was the beloved mother of W. Scott Tuttle, C. Sanford Tuttle and Priscilla T. Parsons (Samuel). In addition to her children, Mrs. Comly is survived by nephews Nathan Fitler and Charles Goodman, 6 grand-children, 10 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grand-children. She was born May 12, 1914 in Bryn Mawr and lived in several Main Line communities and Venice, Fl. Mrs. Comly was an avid naturalist, gardener and birder, who enjoyed needlepoint, and delighted her Dunwoody neighbors with her poetry. During World War II, she served as a Red Cross volunteer. She was also a long time employee of Evelyn McGill in Bryn Mawr.
